We would like to thank the SD#48 Board of Education for a lovely Employee Recognition lunch. It was great to see our staff recognized for many years of service in the district.
Thank you to those who donated to Helping Hands Christmas Care shoe boxes for the homeless. Your kindness will be appreciated by those in need. Starting now, VCE will be collecting new toys and non-perishable food items to donate to the Community Christmas Care. There will be a friendly competition to see if the boys or the girls bring in the most items. We are collecting until Thurs, Dec 10th.
The Boys and Girls Club that runs after school sports and arts/crafts sessions will be finishing next week until the new year. It will start up again on the second week of January. As well, the Strings will be meeting Tuesday mornings only starting in January.

Finally, some of our students are going to entertain the seniors for the Variety Show at Squamish Seniors Centre on Dec 16th. Preparation for the Winter Concert is underway, the concert will be held on Thurs, Dec 17th at 7 pm. The theme this year is “The Snow Tree”.
