In Like a Lion . . .

The Cake Walk was a huge success. We had so much fun raising funds for the Kenya Tuition Fund. Thank you to Save-On Foods, Nesters Market and the parents for their generous donations.

Last Fri, the intermediate students had a wonderful time at the Science World. We toured the ‘Animals Inside Out’ exhibit, watched the Omnimax film ‘Human Body’ and had some time to explore. Thank you to the staff and parent supervisors for making the day possible.

On Monday, the school is closed due to it being a Non-instructional day. Staff will be collaborating on the new curriculum implementation.

Michael Bortolotto will be speaking to the VCE students on Thurs. Mr. Bortolotto was born with Cerebral Palsy that has affected his large and small muscle coordination and the clarity of his speech. Using his own experiences of conquering his own inner challenges and he inspires others so that they can achieve their goals and pursue dreams they didn’t believe were possible. For fun, Twins Day is on Mon, 14th and the Leprechaun Sockhop is on the 17th. The children may want to dress up for both days.

Before Spring Break, the report cards will be going home on Mon, Mar 14th. Following the report cards, there will be an early dismissal and Parent Teacher conference on Thurs. Mar 17th. Appointments can be made through: or please call the school.

Fri, the 18th will be the last day of school until our return from break on April 4th. Some of our students will be swimming on the 18th.
