And Out Like a Lamb . . .

On the Non-instructional day, the staff from SD 48 met to collaborate to plan for implementing the new curriculum implementation. It was a productive day.

The speaker Michael Bortolotto was very inspiring. He shared with us his experiences as a person with cerebral palsy. He stressed the importance of friendship and kindness. As well, he emphasized the need for persistence for toward achieving goals and dreams even though they may feel impossible to attain at times. For more information, please see www.positiverebel.ca Thank you to the PAC for bringing in Mr. Bortolotto to VCE.

Twins Day and the Leprechaun Sock hop were fun. It was great to see everyone dressed up and having a wonderful time. VCE has spirit!

Thank you to the staff for the report cards and the Parent Teacher conference. It’s always important to engage in a continuous conversation with the families regarding the progress of our students.

Today will be the last day of school until our return from break on April 4th.

Upon returning, on April 6th, we will be having a Jump Rope for Heart assembly and the Spring Fling Family dance will be on the night of the 8th.

Thank you for your continued support!   Wishing you a relaxing, enjoyable break.
