Weekly Update!!

Happy Friday VCE Families!

What a great little treat this morning to see some of those big snowflakes coming down!

Our school has an Emergency Preparedness Plan which we review to help ensure the safety and well-being of your child and our staff in the event of an emergency or incident.  This plan includes emergency drills, such as, earthquake drills, wildlife drills, hold and secure and lockdown drills.

In the event we have to proceed with an emergency plan, in order to preserve the dignity and protect confidentiality, we only reach out to families if your child was directly involved in the incident. Teachers will however review why we practice and when on occasion we may need to follow emergency procedures.

Our number one priority is student and staff safety and therefore we will continue to practice drills and implement procedures when needed.
